Can I run Portfolio Professional under Windows 3.1 ?

Answer:
No you can't, Portfolio Professional is a 32 bit application that is engineered for speed and is intended to run in a Windows 95® , Windows 98® or Windows® NT 4.0 (or better) environment.


Question:
Once my data is loaded, how much effort is required each month to update the Portfolio Professional database ?

Answer:
If you execute a moderate number of transactions each month, say no more than 10, you can update the database with less than 5 minutes effort. Obviously, more transactions require more entry effort.


Question:
How much time is it likely to take to initially load my investment data into Portfolio Professional ?

Answer:
The answer of course depends on how much data you need to load. If you have 2 or 3 different investment accounts averaging 8 to 10 securities in each and you have about 3 years worth of data, you should be able to load this in 2 to 3 hours. However, as with any new product, it can take some time to become familiar with the functionality so this estimate may vary.


Question:
If my investment data is already stored in Quicken®, how much effort is involved in loading it into Portfolio Professional ?

Answer:
The automatic import features in Portfolio Professional allow you to load data from Quicken® in minutes rather than hours. You can use the same features every month to update the Portfolio Professional database in seconds.
